Gold medals for Gaffel Kölsch and Gaffel Wiess

Cologne, 9 February 2023 – The Cologne beer classics from the private brewery Gaffel were awarded prizes right at the beginning of the year. Gaffel Kölsch and Gaffel Wiess passed the sensory tests of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) with top marks and each received a gold medal.

The DLG quality tests are considered the most demanding test of food products worldwide. Gaffel Wiess and Gaffel Kölsch achieved above-average scores in terms of quality, freshness and flavour stability. In the past, Gaffel’s Fassbrause, Gaffel SonnenHopfen and the Gaffel spirits Mamma Nero, Schwester Herz and Plüsch Prumm have already been awarded the highest DLG medal.
